Section · Leadership & Retention

People stay when leadership holds them.

The talent shortage is real — but companies rarely lose people to the market. They lose them to their own leadership. „Leadership that holds“ is an accompanying programme that starts exactly there: not with fruit baskets and not with the next recruiting campaign, but with the posture and routines of the leadership team.

01

Who it's for

Owners, managing directors and leadership teams in mid-sized companies who sense: we lose good people too early, and the next generation doesn't come on its own. Anyone looking for „more benefits“ is in the wrong place. Anyone willing to work on clarity, accountability and feedback culture is right.

02

The staged model

We start with a clear entry and deepen over time. After stage 1 you decide whether to continue.

  • Stage 1 — Kickstarter workshop (2–3 days, on-site): situation assessment, draft of a 12-month retention plan, first tools for mood barometer and feedback.
  • Stage 2 — Build-up accompaniment (6–12 months): monthly sessions with management and leadership team, implementing tools into daily routines, fine-tuning along real cases.
  • Stage 3 — Sparring on demand: after completion I remain available as a confidential sparring partner for the management.
03

What we work on, concretely

Four building blocks that work together — none of them is enough alone.

  • 12-month retention plan: a year in which you know when to pull which lever — onboarding, development talks, recognition, career dialogues.
  • Mood barometer with pro/contra evaluation: a simple, honest reading instead of long employee surveys — and above all a clear way to deal with what comes back.
  • Feedback culture: real, regular feedback that doesn't smell of control — but of genuine interest.
  • Leadership clarity: expectation, consequence, recognition — the three sentences every leader must be able to say at any time.
04

What it is not

Not HR consulting, not an employer-branding project, not a software rollout. I don't bring tools — I bring posture and routines. You choose the tools yourself; most of the time you need less than you think.

05

Format & investment

Stage 1 on-site. Stage 2 hybrid: monthly, alternating online and on-site. Scope and investment are agreed individually after the free discovery call, depending on the size of your leadership team and the desired depth. For a first on-site meeting, only travel costs apply.
