What actually moved in practice.

For confidentiality reasons without logos or named clients — but with real numbers from real mandates. 45 years in the automotive industry, including 33 years in leadership roles at Nissan and Volkswagen AG, plus ongoing work with mid-sized companies.

01

Case 1 · Employee retention in a sales region (Automotive, DAX)

Large group, eastern region. Starting point: declining mood scores, high workload in after-sales service, tangible attrition risk. Task: measurable improvement of internal climate and loyalty — without new budget.

  • Mood-barometer index: from 81.9 to 89.1 (scale 0–100) within one year.
  • Employee participation in the survey: 88–89 %.
  • 13 of 13 surveyed dimensions with index ≥ 85 — climate, feedback, leadership role-modelling, risk/error culture, others.
  • Loyalty initiative: 16-week special operation, > 300 participating dealer partners, ~8,900 employees reached — at roughly € 12.60 per person.
02

Case 2 · Service offensive after a crisis phase (Automotive, DAX)

Following a supra-regional special operation, a follow-up programme was designed and implemented to restore service quality in another region — including a 24/5 over-night service concept for end customers and a multi-week mobility initiative.

  • Concept and steering of regional implementation.
  • Tight alignment between workshop network, sales and customer communication.
  • Visible stabilisation of service KPIs in the following year.
03

Case 3 · Digital qualification programme (dealer network)

Build-up of a certified multi-day qualification format for selected dealer partners — together with an internationally recognised marketing school. Goal: lift digital sovereignty in sales and customer communication at partner level.

  • 20 selected dealer partners, 50 % cost-sharing.
  • 5-day boot camp with certified graduation.
  • Subsequent scale-up of the learning content into the wider network.
04

Case 4 · Large event for service advisors

Concept and execution of a two-day event for more than 900 service advisors and service assistants — combining business meeting, product presentation and a thank-you format. Measurable impact on belonging and team spirit in subsequent surveys.

What ties these mandates together

In every case it was not about new tools, but about leadership, posture and consistent routines — and about the willingness to look honestly at what the mood barometer reflects back. Exactly this experience flows into every coaching and accompaniment programme today.
